Service Description

The workshop has three parts and will be limited to 6 students. 1. A zoom class on Sunday August 25th, 2024 at 4:00-5:00 pm that will cover equipment, settings, planning and everything you need to get started capturing landscape images at night. You can join live or watch a recorded version at your leisure prior to the field portion. 2. Field portion Saturday August 31th, 2024 from 7:45 pm until 10:15 pm in Parkdale Oregon. We will start capturing images as The Milky Way gradually appears over Mt Hood. Each class size is limited to 6 people allow for one on one assistance. 3. A second zoom class on Sunday September 1st from 4:00-5:00pm. This will also be recorded and available online. This portion will cover basic processing of images in Lightroom and will also introduce more advanced techniques and software that can be used to create star trails, star stacking and time blending.
